Overview:
This position plays a pivotal role in assisting and supporting the current Business Development Department and is instrumental in its efficiency.

Job Role:

Administrative support for the Business Development function, the duties/tasks of which would include but not be limited to:

  • Assistance with the development and maintenance of Business Development policies and procedures
  • Assistance in the preparation of Customer Proposals, Quotations, Presentations, Contracts and Contract renewals
  • Preparation of BD reports
  • Maintaining & Filing of all Business Development documentation and templates (electronic and hard copies)
  • Assistance with the maintenance of the Customer Database (in conjunction with the Marketing Co-ordinator)
  • Liaising with Customers, prospects and manufacturers – including the setting up of appointments
  • Administration of Customer / User Reward Programmes, Partner Meetings and Functions
  • Administration of the Company’s internal Business Development Dashboard (maintaining the Company’s internal activity tool to ensure it is relevant, correct and measures key metrics)
  • Participating in weekly Business Development Meetings
  • Assistance in the identification of revenue opportunities for the Business Development Team
  • Ensuring sales from the Business Development Department is accurately and correctly fed through to the Finance Department for billing purposes
  • Administration of Classroom Training enrolments
  • Management of purchases from Pinewood UK
  • Ensuring knowledge of the Business’s Software System is at a sufficient level to carry out the duties required

Inherent Requirements of the Job:

  • Relevant tertiary education (i.e. in the fields of Business Development, Business Administration, Marketing)
  • High proficiency level in MS Office – with advanced skills in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work within tight deadlines
  • Highly professional communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to innovate
  • Desire to continuously improve the team, oneself, and the position
